About Scuba Unlimited

In 1974, Scuba Unlimited opened its doors in Cincinnati giving area residents the opportunity to experience the underwater world from a close up view. We are a full service scuba and snorkeling center focusing on our commitment to our customers and our dedication to education. We are also the exclusive dive center for the Newport Aquarium.

Our knowledgeable non-commission staff can help you find the right equipment to fit your personal needs for rental or purchase and continue our well known customer service with maintenance and repair.

Education is the cornerstone of the Scuba Unlimited philosophy having certified thousands of divers locally and around the world. We currently have 30 instructors and dive masters, with a wide variety of backgrounds and occupations, giving us a low student to teacher ratio and a diverse perspective. We educate students on the basics to the technical aspects of scuba, as well as the importance of safety and the preservation of the environment. Our dedication has also expanded outside of our store to the community.

In conjunction with the Cincinnati Recreation Commission, Scuba Unlimited has developed a Discover Scuba program to give our inner city children an opportunity to experience the underwater world. Weekly Discover Scuba sessions are held at area city pools during the summer, followed by an Open Water class and a certification trip to the Florida Springs.
